Dr. von Bilderling graduated in medicine at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich (LMU) in 1981. He then absolved his training in internal medicine, angiology and phlebology at the Medical Policlinic of the university and the Private Clinic Josephinum in Munich. During the past 30 years Dr. von Bilderling performed more than 5,000 catheter interventions.

Dr. von Bilderling is an active teacher with medical students of the LMU and trainees in angiology and internal medicine. Since 1984 he is seminar leader for the German Society for Medical Ultrasound (DEGUM), and since 2009 he is a member of the Bavarian board for ultrasound certification.
